As discussed before in the density section, low-density lipoproteins have more fat than they have proteins, which means that they leave fat behind on their way back to the liver. This can create a higher risk of arterial clogging, which is not good, of course. That’s why these are often considered bad and when looking at these in biomarkers, you can consider a high LDL not good.
